Earth Day Clean Up

On Saturday April 24, we sponsored a major clean-up day in Wrightwood in celebration of Earth Day. We put together a group of about 20 people including 5 Boy Scouts from the local troop. With the help or CR&R, the local waste services company who donated a 40 yard dumpster, we cleaned up a great deal of illegal dumping that has been taking place up here in the mountains. We filled the dumpster to the top and pulled out over 100 scrap tires from the area, not to mention lots of metal and plastic objects.

Unfortunately not everyone that was there is in the picture, bet we would like to thank all who attended for their hard work.
